Contrary to what we may have reported, Anne Hathaway did not cut her luscious locks, after all, for this pixie on the left (thank you US Weekly). Which got us thinking that we should take a closer look at some of the wigs around Hollywood to see who has managed to do it best over the years.

Again, here is Ms. Hathaway. Again, super cute pixie wig, but her hair is truly one of her best features. We're glad she's holding onto it for now.
Like Hathaway, Angelina Jolie has worn her share of wigs for movies. She wore a raven mane for her movie Salt, which isn't a crazy departure (see right pic below). But her natural brunette is so much prettier than the jet black hair. Wow. I can literally feel her whipping her head around in slow mo for this shot on the left. She really has a great head of hair doesn't she? We hate her. Mr. Fashionista thinks she's mannish. We think he might be crazy.

And then there's John Travolta. We're pretty sure John hasn't gone without some sort of wig or hair enhancement since 1985. So, here are some pics from real life. As you can see, some wigs are better than others. Unfortunately, they always look pretty unnatural.

And then there's Miss Tyra. There was a period of time when it appeared that Ms. Banks purchased her wigs and weaves from a dollar store. Thank god she has upgraded. I mean she's practically Oprah. She should spend the money to prove it. And, finally, she has. Her wig/ weave on the right is gorgeous!

And so, Miss Tyra Banks, you will happy to know that you win our fake hair contest! You will, of course, not be surprised as you realize you are sooooo much better than us mere mortals. It hurts us to give you this award, but with as many hair disasters as you have had (not to mention unfortunate jump suits), we must still admit well done!

And dear hearts, in case you have been waiting in eager anticipation to see which plus size girl will be cut first on Cycle 425 of America's Next Top Model, the new season is starting tomorrow night at 8 eastern/ 7 central on the CW. By the way, we think Andre Leon Tally has been a genius addition to the show. Here's hoping Tyra doesn't go scare him off (aka fire him) like Janice Dickinson, Twiggy, and Paulina Porizkova before him.
