Enormous Hats at Chanel

OK, dear hearts, when we first saw this, we thought it was the world's largest hat. Alas, no, it's only an umbrella. But you know what? We kind of think it's a fabulous double take and we enjoy our fashion with a sense of humor.

Let's go ahead and check out the front.

Hmm. It was actually much more interesting from the back and we're not wild about the print. And the shoes. No. We don't want those.

Don't get me wrong. We like the dress very much and would certainly not, in any way, be opposed to having it in our closet (in fact, we would love to have it in our closet!). In particular, we love the slight drop waist and off the shoulder neckline. It's very, very pretty and feminine. We were just really excited to see what was on the other side of that crazy umbrella and expected something a bit more avant garde, that's all.

  1. Agreed, the "hat" does not match the dress. But that is hilarious, it really does look like a hay.

  2. The shoes are horrible. I agree with you, I actually like the dress, I was just expecting something more.

  3. Oh, I like it and the umbrella is hilarious, but like you said, it does not match what is under it.
