She's got legs...sheer energy legs. Anyone else remember that commercial? Anyway, another of the great fashion trends on the Paris runways (and, indeed, in NYC, London and Milan) was sheer fabrics, exposing legs, arms, midriffs, breasts. You name it, it was exposed. At its worst, it reminded us of the horrible Kelly Taylor (of the original Beverly Hills 90210) type blouses we wore at the beginning of high school. At its best, it was beautiful and so totally 2010.And so standing in for the pregnant Rachel Zoe, we present some of our fave sheer looks from Paris and the actresses we believe would look smashing in them...
1. Sheer with Flourishes.
Sarah Burton, who had the insanely difficult task of designing the Alexander McQueen collection for next spring, showed many a dramatic look. We were, however, most drawn to her nymph like creations. Wearable? In the right circles on the right ladies we think they might just be.
For instance, we could see this black dress on someone like Zoe Saldana (we certainly like to put dresses on that gal don't we?).
