Red Carpet: Lea Michele at Billboard's 5th Annual Women in Music Awards

We absolutely hate it that we are so terribly annoyed with Lea Michele these days, but we just can't help it. Her it girl status just drips off of her in a horribly smug way. As for her fashion sense, well, this is a bit Judy Jetson, but, overall, we think she looks cute and we will accept it. Which is more than we can say of Rachel Berry these days. Glee has gone way downhill in our opinion. What say you gentle readers, in or out?

  1. Totally agree on Glee. It's getting less and less fabulous and more and more preachy.

  2. I still watch it, but it is no longer must see tv for me. I disagree Tim though. I don't think the preachiness is the biggest problem. The problem is that the show has fallen to much in love with itself. Now it's just a vehicle for celebrity self promotion--although I did like the Paltrow episode.

  3. I agree with both of you. I, too, still watch it, but I find it both preachy and full of itself. They have gotten away from what made the show great--the story, with songs chosen for their importance to the story, and not for the purpose of increasing ITunes sales.

Have to agree with you Rachel, though. I thought Gwyneth was great. Perhaps it was because she felt like a real character and not a random cameo appearance.

  4. I'm sad to agree that the magic is gone. The worst part about that is that there are few tv shows that I have liked as much as that first half season. It was funny, the songs were fun, and it had heart without beating you over the head with it.

  5. Add me to the chorus of people who are growing tired of this show. It's becoming so that each week it just sits on my DVR. It's becoming a chore to watch.
