The Eight Faces of Carrie Underwood

For the third year in a row, Carrie Underwood hosted the Country Music Awards. And, once again, she was only permitted to stay in any one outfit for 10 minutes or less. Let's go ahead and take a look dear hearts.

While we could do without the middle flounce in the mermaid gown, that purple dress has a polyester bridal look about it.

Night of the Living Leighton

Brains. Brains. Leighton Meester as the fashion undead. Seriously, what is with the pale makeup? She looks so lifeless that an otherwise cute dress looks more like the tatters of a newly born zombie.

Stop the Press: Paris Hilton Is In

We can not believe we are about to say this, but Paris Hilton looks absolutely adorable here and, dare we say, classy. We're so proud of you, Paris. Our little baby girl is all grown up.

2010 Jakarta Fashion Week

We can only assume the headpiece on this look is inspired by traditional Indonesian garb somehow, so we'll give it a pass.

The Fashion Show Ultimate Collection Episode 1

Iman
Well dear hearts, now that Project Runway is over, we didn't know how on earth we were going to spend our free time. I mean, where on earth would we be able to find another show where self-proclaimed fashion designers attempted to tear each others' eyes out while established people in the industry made everyone feel like no-talent hacks week after week? Fortunately for us, Bravo has filled the void with their newest Project Runway replacement "The Fashion Show Ultimate Collection". Although this show is technically in its second season (I think I was one of the 5 people who watched the first season), it seems to have been completely retooled. Not only has Kelly Rowland been replaced by Iman (great move), but the new season feels much, much closer  to emulating the magic of Heidi, Tim, Michael and Nina than any other fashion survivor show we've seen (this doesn't mean it's anywhere near as good as PR--it just means it follows the show's format most faithfully).

1. Let's meet the players, shall we?

Iman is playing the role of Heidi Klum. She seemed a bit stiff in this inaugural episode, but we think this gal's got some serious promise. Although we're slightly afraid of the statuesque beauty after this episode (which is strange because we always kind of thought of her as a soft spoken, kind woman), she is certainly not boring. No cutesy Heidi "hellos" from this Somalian model, but we trust her fashion sense as Iman truly is a fashion icon.

Red Carpet: 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards

Let's see what the kids wore to the MTV Europe Music Awards this year...

1. Miley Cyrus. When Colonel Sanders goes drag. Although, we have to admit, Ms. Miley looks kind of cute.

Part 5: Road to Australia with Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness

Photograph: Darla Khazei, PacificCoastNews.comWhen Hugh Jackman invited us to take a tour of his homeland Australia, with him, we certainly could not refuse. And so, at the first available opportunity, Mr. Fashionista and I packed our bags and flew down under to meet up with the Aussie hottie and his wife Debora-Lee Furness.

1. Family Time in Sydney. After almost a whole day of flying, we arrive in Sydney where Hugh meets us to immediately begin our tour through the city. Hugh is adorable, dressed in a black v-neck tee, jeans, fedora, and shades. Scrumptious. Unfortunately, his wife will be unable to join us until later in the afternoon as their two children have piano lessons this morning.

And so we begin our tour in the oldest area of Sydney, called simply "The Rocks."  The old district is nestled at the foot of Sydney Harbour Bridge on the western shores of Sydney Cove and from here, we can appreciate both the gorgeous location and the history which has shaped this vibrant and cosmopolitan city. The area is mainly comprised of cafes, restaurants and shops, but also shows off beautiful colonial buildings. After admiring the scenery and picking up a couple of stuffed koala bears for Hugh's kids, Oscar and Ava, we decide that all of us could definitely use a bite to eat.
