Red Carpet: Kate Walsh in a Pantsuit

There is so much wrong with Kate Walsh's pantsuit, seen below at the Trevor LIVE evening in Hollywood, that we're not quite sure where to begin. But for your sake gentle readers, we will, of course, try.

First of all, we hate the tapered ankles, which do a fantastic job of making Miss Kate's hips look three times larger than they actually are. Plus, we have never been a fan of any variation of the harem pant. Second, it certainly looks like somebody forgot to do the flash test. Yep. That's right. Kate's bra cups are showing right through this get-up although we suppose that's better than exposing nipple. And, finally, we're pretty sure those pants are pleated. In a word, no.

In short, we think this entire outfit may be the worst move Kate's made since she left Grey's Anatomy for Private Practice. What say you dear hearts?

Angelina Jolie Circa 1984

So, here's a riddle for you, dear hearts: What do you get when you cross Joan Collins with Tammy Wynette?

Still haven't guessed it darlings? Why the answer is Angelina Jolie, of course.

Oh, Angie, dear, what were you thinking? Between the strong shoulders in your gown and the giant aquanetted  hair, we're not sure if we've been thrown into a 1984 soap opera or a bad country song. Ange, let's tone down the hair next time, shall we?

Red Carpet: Anne Hathaway does J Lo

Never in a million years would we ever have believed that Anne Hathaway could look as good or better in a dress so typically J Lo. But here we are, dear hearts, looking at what  we think is one of Anne's best looks in awhile (although actually she's been doing must better than usual lately).

The gold lights up her whole face and the mod dress is both super flattering and super fun on Ms. Hathaway. Her entire look is both effortless and put together. And it appears that even Anne, herself, knows she looks pretty great as she's all smiles. Definitely IN.

Carey Mulligan showed up in red at the Moet British Independent Film Awards. And, as usual, Ms. Mulligan also showed up looking adorable. We love the color on her and think there's something very Hitchcock-icy-blond about her in this dress, with that hair and those shoes. In other words, there's something fabulously retro about Carey's look...which is why we're just a bit confused by the weird remote control purse she seems to be carrying.

Red Carpet: Marion Cotillard at 10th International Film Festival

Marion Cotillard recently attended the 10th International Film Festival in Marrakech, dressed as an ostrich with a bad perm. Unfortunately, Ms. M also seems to have been attacked by blue amoebas.

There's nothing more to say really dear readers, except that we weep when one of our former fashion faves descends into the depths of fashion faux pas. Come back to the light Marion. Come back.

Red Carpet: Lea Michele at Billboard's 5th Annual Women in Music Awards

We absolutely hate it that we are so terribly annoyed with Lea Michele these days, but we just can't help it. Her it girl status just drips off of her in a horribly smug way. As for her fashion sense, well, this is a bit Judy Jetson, but, overall, we think she looks cute and we will accept it. Which is more than we can say of Rachel Berry these days. Glee has gone way downhill in our opinion. What say you gentle readers, in or out?

The Fashion Show Ultimate Collection: Man Up

NEW YORK - OCTOBER 26: Designer Isaac Mizrahi speaks with winners of DailyCandy's 'Start Small, Go Big Contest' in celebration of DailyCandy's 10th Anniversary at Isaac Mizrahi Headquarters on October 26, 2010 in New York City. (Photo by Michael Loccisano/Getty Images for DailyCandy)Tonight's episode begins with Golnessa talking about stepping up her game. In fact, many of the remaining designers are concerned about showing the judges what they've got.

1. The Challenge. Soon thereafter,  Iman sends word to the remaining contestants to meet her at the Museum of Natural History. Once the designers arrive, they see nine metal boxes surrounding a fortune cookie shaped fountain. Iman informs them that in the middle of the fountain is a time capsule, which will be opened in 1000 years. Similarly, in each of the nine metal boxes surrounding the fortune cookie is a time capsule for a different year. Each designer will choose a different box and his or her look must then be inspired by the year of the time capsule he or she chooses. However, all looks must still fit together as a collection.

For Team Emerald, Golnessa must design for 1951, Jeffrey for 1989, Cesar for 2001, and Cindy for 1965. For Team Nami, Eduardo must design for 1976, Calvin for 1957, Dominique for 1994, Rolando for 1969, and David for 1982. Once everyone has their design year, Iman informs the designers that they must also use plaid in their designs. Moaning and groaning ensues as most designers can't imagine having to work with plaid.

Winona Ryder is the Man in Black

Wow. Winnie must have read our blog about how she's always wearing black poofy dresses. Ms. Ryder, we now apologize to you as we would never, never want to encourage any person to wear this suit. Ever. In a million years. Unless, of course, you're impersonating Johnny Cash. Then, we say go for it.

There is so very much wrong with the look, dear hearts, that it's really hard to know where to begin, but let's just say, we're not big fans of the chunky pendant that seems to be doubling as a bolo tie. Indeed, the fact that Winnie has buttoned her shirt up all the way completes this image. Further, we hate the cut of this jacket, which is not feminine at all, is too long and makes Ms. Ryder's legs look way shorter than they actually are. Just awful.

Again, unless you've shot a man in Reno just to watch him die, please ignore our last post Winnie and bring back the black poofy dress. Please?
