Part 1: If We Were Rachel Zoe in London...

MADRID, SPAIN - APRIL 11: A miniature Union Jack blows in the wind as Paul Gordon of the 'Conservatives Abroad' organisation waits to register voters for the forthcoming United Kingdom general election at the Parroquia Nuestra Senora de la Merced on April 11, 2010 in Madrid, Spain. The General Election, to be held on May 6, 2010 is set to be one of the most closely fought political contests in recent times with all main party leaders embarking on a four week campaign to win the votes of the United Kingdom electorate. (Photo by Jasper Juinen/Getty Images) Now that London Fashion Week is over, dear hearts, we thought we'd put our Rachel Zoe hats on, and play stylist to the stars once again. And, in honor of England's Union Jack, we have chosen our fave ensembles from LFW in shades of red, white and blue.

Red. We noticed quite a few red frocks at London Fashion Week this year, but this Jaeger dress we found too cute to ignore. We love the way this look positively bounces and the pleating at the bottom gives it some interest. We could see many a young starlet in this dress, but we think Kristen Bell could look scrumptiously girly in this. And judging from the photo below (on the right) from the premiere of "You Again", Ms. Bell needs a little help in the wardrobe (and hair) department. Plus, we think she'd look great in red.

White. We also loved Peter Pilotto's entire 2011 spring collection. This white dress, however, was one of our faves and softly echoes the seventies vibe that many designers have embraced in their 2011 spring collections. Not only is this dress fashion forward, but is incredibly elegant and wearable. Plus, it looks like it would flatter most body types with the crisscross pattern at the waist. We absolutely covet this dress. However, as Rachel Zoe, stylist to the stars, we know we must put our own desires aside and give this gorge dress to one of our clients. And who will the lucky gal be? Well, we have decided, because we are so very kind, that we will allow Maggie Gyllenhaal that honor.

HOLLYWOOD - MAY 11: Actress Amanda Seyfried attends the 'Letters to Juliet' film premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theatre on May 11, 2010 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Frederick M. The way this dress just seems to rest on top of the model's body is absolutely effortless. We also think the blue in this cute little number would look great with Amanda Seyfried's icy blue eyes.

  1. You are absolutely correct. That blue would look amazing on Amanda. Her eyes are so beautiful. And you are also right about Kristen. I am not as sure about the Maggie dress. It seems too stylish for her.

  2. Do you think a bustier actress could pull off the Pilotto? I love the dresses and I love your picks.

  3. Depends how busty. How busty do you mean? But I do think that it looks better on a smaller girl. I do love that dress.
