Milan Fashion Week: Prada's Minimalist Take on Carmen Miranda

So, dear hearts, we have ignored Milan Fashion Week for far too long. And who better to make us take notice than Miuccia Prada herself. We love this most recent Prada collection. It's all bananas, monkeys and stripes in all the colors of the rainbow, while maintaining the simple lines Prada is known for. So, grab an umbrella drink, relax and enjoy.

  1. I love it, but does this really feel like a fall collection? So, any celebrity suggestions for this collection?

  2. This is actually the spring 2011 collection. Here's the Prada fall collection and it's just as (if not more) beautiful! http://nymag.com/fashion/fashionshows/2010/fall/main/europe/womenrunway/prada/

As for celebrity suggestions, I could maybe see someone like Kate Hudson in that first dress...
